Biotechnology Approved In Australia

A new survey that has been nation wide in Australia, has found that biotechnology provides positive results for individuals’ health. The survey which was conducted by the IPSOS Eureka Social Research Institute in 2009 to June of this year found that individuals who have previously benefited from biotechnology and those who haven’t are more incline to support the ideas and technology behind biotechnology.

Although there was some confusion and disagreement when it came to genetically modified (GM) food, which has been a linked cause of biotechnology, majority of individuals who participated agreed the major benefits of biotechnology outweighed the negative effects. The survey conducted in six groups of 47 participants took over one year to complete and has been released for public use.
