Toscana Life Sciences Park Invites Start-up Companies

The newly-established Toscana Life Sciences Park is calling for applications from individuals, individuals, companies and organizations who would like to set up shop in Siena, Italy. The science park hopes to attract spin-off and start-up companies, including those needing bio-incubator spaces, which will be available for use starting mid 2006.
To facilitate translating basic research into industrial application, the science park offers not just facilities and services, but includes support with

* applications for national and international grants;
* technology transfer;
* finance and fiscal issues;
* legal advice;
* product development;
* Business development;
* marketing and communication;
* licensing;
* partnering;
* personnel recruitment.
