The Biotech Game of Life

I am going to deviate for a moment from serious stuff and feature an ingenious (hypothetical?) board game published on the The Science Creative Quarterly. The Biotech Game of Life is a parody of sorts to getting a lead compound finally out to the market
In "The Biotech Game of Life," which is similar to the Game of Life, each player is a scientist attempting to successfully bring his or her biotechnology product to the market. During the game, players will face many obstacles before obtaining a successful product and the first one to accomplish this wins.

Complete with game borad and play money, the game and the article as a whole provide insight on the steps and challenges involved in biotech product development. It's light and fun, and even if you don't want to play the game, it's guaranteedly an interesting read!

Found thru this week's Medical Blogging Grand Rounds, hosted at Medpundit.
