Presenters will be Michael Doran and David Miclean, Of Counsel and litigation attorney, respectively, from Fish & Richardson P.C, a Silicon Valley law firm specializing in intellectual property, complex litigation and technology law. The workshop will tackle how life science companies such as Biogen Idec, Chiron, and Merck, have all faced difficult investigations and/or cases in the courts. The session, which will also discuss the 10 most important clauses in deals to prevent litigation should be of interest particularly to start-up companies.
