The Company's scientists found that these adult stem cells were able to differentiate into most tissues and organs of the body---including spermatogonia. These very early embryonic stem cells appear to be retained in adult tissues as "Blastomere-Like Stem Cells (BLSCs)."
Using serum-free defined cell culture reagent, Moraga Biotech scientists were able to clone these unique adult stem cells into various cell lines from a single cell. While new cancer research evidence is pointing towards the possibility of the disease arising from adult stem cells, Moraga Biotech is developing such cell lines for use by research scientists. Adult-derived stem cells may be an invaluable research tool for discovering new molecular pathways and drugs for treating and possibly curing many forms of cancer in the very near future.

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone will ever respond to this, but this sounds miraculous. The only problem is I've only ever seen reference to it by non-scientific bloggers, and the company's own publication. Has there been any real independent verification of this, and if so, could someone please send it to me? Thanks!

Hi, am not sure there'd be an independent verification at this point, but they must have at least published their data in a peer-reviewed journal. It might be worth to contact them at info@moragabiotech.com, and ask for a reprint.
I did a quick search on PubMed, which returned a wealth of publications on adult-tissue derived stem cells, but none recently from Young, HE and Black, AC Jr (the scientific advisers in Moraga). Sorry, I can't be of more help.

Thanks Ruth! I'll post what I find out here, if you don't mind.
