Online Training Program For Biotechnology Technicians

The iCoast technology cluster in South Florida will launch an online training program for prospective biotechnology technicians particularly for those in the region, including Palm Beach County, Broward County and Miami Dade County.
The curriculum amounts to 40 hours of instructional modules that take 30 to 45 minutes each to complete. They cover literacy for biotech, regulatory compliance, biotech facilities and equipment, safety awareness, problem-solving and decision-making, basic laboratory interaction and preparing the biotech workplace.According to iCoast Executive Director Michael Corbit, upon completion of the coursework, trainees will receive a certificate that will serve as additional credential
