Rich in cereals, fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains, fish and olive oil, the Mediterranean diet has been found to be beneficial to those with arthritis, Alzheimer's disease, hearth health and blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, lung disease, and allergies. The very reasons why Mediterranean diet became popular all over the world.
Reporting in the Archives of Neurology, the researchers said that their findings provide support for further exploration of food combination-based dietary behavior for the prevention of Alzheimer's disease.
