India To Add 10 New Biotech Parks By 2010

In addition to those already in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune, India plans another 10 new biotechnology parks to be operational by 2010. The new parks will come up in states of Gujarat, Uttaranchal, Keralalinks, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi.

The Genome Valley in Hyderabad, reputed to be the most advanced biotechnology hub in India, is currently hosting the BioAsia 2006.
