India is on the verge of becoming the biotech hub in this world of science and technology. The idea of creating the biotechnology park will provide the knowledge of IT, life science as well as tissue culture. Besides these it will open new area of employment for the younger science and technology generation and to find new scope in this area.

That Biotech will fluorish in India is just a matter of time. The talent and push is definiely there. But I think that whether India can compete with other more technologically advanced countries in Asia remains to be seen, though.

With Present Biotech parks in Lucknow, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and bangalore. The quality research work is still far from what it was expected. Just increasing the number of biotech parks will not help the development of biotech in india, some other measures need to be taken to boost the biotech sector.
