The Biotech Weblog participates in the 50th Grand Rounds, hosted by Joseph j7uy5 of Corpus Callosum. The Grand Rounds is a collection of some of the best in medical blogging, all written to suit even readers coming non-medical backgrounds. As this weblog often feature drug discovery, I submitted yesterday's entry on GRN163L to this issue of the Grand Rounds.

I'm not yet done reading all the entries, but scanning through the excellent introduction, I saw one entry which also might be of interest to those in the Biotech field: Dr. Andrew MacGinnitie, posting on Dr. Andy, builds on an article in Lancet (unfortunately, there was no bibliographic reference) about the efficacy of bone marrow transplants (to treat leukemia) against solid tumors. Head on there to find out how it works.
