Erectile Dysfunction Drugs Effective and Safe for Diabetics
Browsing through today's latest science news, I've encountered a number of articles on men's sexual health.

From the Seattle Times reports of more than $200 million increase in the annual sales of Cialis, the No.2 impotence drug, from 2005 to 2006.
Cialis now has about a 27 percent market share in the U.S., trailing only Pfizer's Viagra among impotence drugs, according to market research firm IMS Health.

In the next few years, these figures may continue to increase. In a recent study, the use of such phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitors ( a class of drugs which include Viagra and Levitra) have also been shown to be a safe and effective option to treat erectile dysfunction among men with diabetes.

The study, Phosphodiesterase inhibitors for erectile dysfunction in patients with diabetes mellitus, has been published at the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, doi: 10.1002/14651858.CD002187.pub3.
