Cerus Corporation Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

Cerus Corporation announced plans to offer 4,500,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering.
Cerus' product pipeline include cancer therapy and immunotherapies for infectious diseases, including those that may be used for biodefense (anthrax and tularemia). Cerus also developed the INTERCEPT Blood System, which is designed to enhance the safety of donated blood components by inactivating viruses, bacteria, other pathogens and white blood cells.
