Happy New Year, everyone! Apologies for my sporadic postings last month, but I have been travelling in Asia, and Internet Connections have been tricky following the earthquake in Taiwan after Christmas. But now I'm back in action, ready to tackle another year of news and trends in the science and business of biotechnology. Care to make predictions? In what areas do you think we'll make big progress on? New therapeutics? Economically feasible alternative energy sources? Novel technology in agriculture and food production?

Make no doubt, we'll get there. One step at a time.

Biotechnology is a field in the growth phase of the PLC, where it have a variety of technologies for the human welfare. In India, technologies such as vaccine devp., target drugs, gene chip etc are coming with full throttle wher the global players are also extending their hands for merger to result in more product lines in this field.
