Applied Biosystems and DuPont Qualicon Teams Up

Applied Biosystems has teamed up with DuPont Qualicon to develop a new system for detecting pathogens and other contaminating organisms in food and environmental samples. The new product being developed will couple Biosystem's TaqMan PCR-based assay and DuPont's BAX detection system, aimed to produce automated, quantitative and strain-specific results.
